Asa Parker Ditamore, 79, resident in and near Crawfordsville for many years, died Sunday at 8 p.m. In the Westbrook Nursing Home where he had lived since 1954. Mr. Ditamore was born in Montgomery County, June 18, 1884, the son of Wesley and Sarah Catherine Schock Ditamore. He was married to Blanche Brandstaff. He attended schools in Montgomery County, and was employed for many years doing farm and labor work. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Karl Laurimore of Crawfordsville, a son, Lewis O. Ditamore of Crawfordsville and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Henry of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Sue Collins of Crawfordsville. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Ogrod officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery near Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home.
